Don Bosco Oratory at Santiago del Estero, Argentina participated in an Agricultural, Artisan and Peasant Expo

Young people from the Student Residence of the Oratorio Don Bosco of Santiago del Estero participated in the XV Agricultural, Artisan and Peasant Expo that was held on Thursday, July 13 at the "San Benito" Agrotechnical School in the town of Santos Lugares, Dpto. Alberdi.

Accompanied by educators and professionals from the interdisciplinary team of the work, they presented the Tejiendo Lazos workshops in which they participate and formed a team of Environmental Promoters together with students from the host school. This team visited the expo stands to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and carried out an eco-swap: they collected waste produced at the expo and exchanged it for seedlings of native, aromatic and ornamental species.

The day was marked by a meeting with the families and representatives of the area. This initiative represents the commitment of the Oratory with the care of the Common House and with the promotion of the integral development of the rural communities.
