Tree Plantation Activity at Don Bosco TVET Center - Calauan, Inc., Philippines
As part of the Climate change adaptation and mitigation program, Don Bosco Calauan organized and carried out a tree-planting activity at Southville 7, Site 3, Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Calauan, Laguna, led by our Rector, Fr. Paul Michael B. Suarez, SDB.
Fr. Suarez, SDB began by providing a brief review of climate change and its effects, and the goal and significance of planting trees.
In three to five years, these saplings should grow into strong fruit-bearing trees that will soon be able to minimize climate change, prevent flooding, assist clean air, and produce food.
