Laudato Si' Week Celebration, Don Bosco Tech Africa

To celebrate the 8th anniversary of this encyclical on the care of creation that Pope Francis made, the Green Club of Luanda, Mabubas had the screening of the film “Laudato Si': a Letter”.

 The film was screened twice and it attracted over 100 young people who enjoyed watching it.

 As a way of promoting renewable energy, the Green Mobile Vehicle in Angola has been fitted with solar panels on its roof. Therefore, this solar energy was used to screen the film in the courtyard of Don Bosco Mabubas Professional Training Center.

 This year, the theme for Laudato Si' Week was “Hope for the Earth. Hope for mankind”. The event’s program revolved around the film A Carta. The feature film tells the story of four “social poets” directly affected by the climate crisis who travel to Rome to meet with Pope Francis, and exclusively includes their conversation.

 The idea of ​​​​the campaign is to mobilize all the faithful to action, promoting care for our common home.
