Salesian Family Activities during Season of Creation 2024

 As we conclude this year’s Season of Creation, we reflect on the vibrant and meaningful activities that brought our community together in celebration, reflection, and action. From September 1st to October 4th, we embraced the theme “To Hope and Act with Creation" Take a glimpse at the activities from the Salesian Family.

1. Don Bosco Youth Services, Mumbai, India -. Don Bosco Youth Services, Mumbai along with the Archdiocesan Office for Environment organized “Eco Canticles” a celebration of creation through drama, music and dance.

2. Season of Creation Closing Ceremony - The Ecumenical Youth Council of Season of Creation organized the closing ceremony of Season of Creation 2024. The Don Bosco Green Alliance, a member of this council, hosted the online event.

3. Centro Juvenil São João Batista, Poxoréu, Brazil - Centro Juvenil São João Batista, Poxoréu, Brazil, carried out educational activities during the month of September aimed at promoting reflection on the environment and caring for our Common Home.

4. Don Bosco Centre, Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar - Some SDB and FMA schools in cooperation with Don Bosco Green Alliance-Myanmar organized some awareness programs for the students under their care in their respective settings.

5. Salesianos San Rafael de Elche, Spain - Salesianos San Rafael de Elche in Spain closed the Season of Creation by renewing their commitments to the DBGA in an act of prayer and meeting with the educational community and with the gesture of planting a tree in their school.
