As part of Jai Hind College’s Dot Com Club (DCC) initiative, Don Bosco High School, Borivali (West), in Mumbai, India, actively participated in the E-Waste Drive on 28th & 29th July, 2025. This collaborative campaign aimed to raise awareness about electronic waste and promote eco-friendly disposal practices among students and parents.
Parents were encouraged to send unused or broken electronic items such as old phones, chargers ,TV sets, ovens, remotes, and laptops with their children on the collection day. The enthusiastic response from families not only ensured responsible recycling of e-waste but also helped instil environmental values in our students.
We are proud to announce that our school collected a total of 154 kg of e-waste, with 100 kg contributed by the SSC section and 54 kg by the CBSE section. This remarkable effort reflects the commitment of our school community towards sustainable environmental practices.
Through this drive, Don Bosco High School has taken a meaningful step towards building a greener planet. We thank all the parents and students for their valuable contribution and support in making this initiative a success.
