Tuluá Joins The Challenge Of Sowing Life

June is already known as the green month due to the important ecological dates that are celebrated in it. Within the framework of this celebration, on Wednesday, June 8, the San Juan Bosco de Tuluá school held a day as a gesture of love for our Common Home. In this event, the young people of the Salesian Youth Movement carried out the symbolic planting of 100 trees that open to the planting of 7,000 trees in the facilities of the "La flora" farm belonging to the institution distributed in 3 hectares of forest for domestic use, 2 km of isolation with a living fence, 4 hectares of enrichment, 2 hectares of protective forest and 4 hectares of silvopastoral system.

This planting will be achieved thanks to the Afforestation Agreement (035-2022) between the San Juan Bosco school, the Valle del Cáuca Regional Autonomous Corporation, CVC, and the “Arms in solidarity with life and nature” foundation, contributing to the scope of the goals set in the project "Promotion and development of environmental culture in the social works and educational services of the San Luis Beltrán Province", sponsored by Don Bosco Mondo of Germany
