Rede do Bem and Don Bosco Green Alliance collect recyclables

Rede do Bem and Don Bosco Green Alliance Campaign 2nd semester 2024 CEDESP Don Bosco Bom Retiro and Vila Paulistana - Don Bosco Institute, Brazil. In support of the environment and social action, the campaign to collect used plastic bottle caps and cooking/engine oil, as well as aluminum can seals for wheelchairs for NGOs that need this resource for the public served, is a competition for good among those served, with awareness and the right to a prize. After the local collection, the recyclable material is sent to the Bom Retiro headquarters, where the Green Alliance team makes the necessary arrangements.

Currently, in addition to the biannual campaigns with the students, Vila Paulistana is already a reference point for collecting these materials in the neighborhood, and the community always collaborates.

“Thank you VP! Congratulations VP! Even if they're not motivated by the competition, the VP community is always participative. At the end of the day, it's all of us and the next generations who win, with the prospect of a better tomorrow and a more sustainable future!” said Pérola Barranco Brito, the unit's manager.

At CEDESP Bom Retiro, a special thank you:

“Another campaign successfully closed. At CEDESP I'd like to thank the commitment of the morning classes in Electrical Controls and Automotive Mechanics. They really took our competition for good seriously and until the 45th minute of the 2nd half we didn't have a winner, first place oscillated between these two classes and educators Lucas Santos and Samir Mourad kept motivating our students.

As for the CCA PROVIM kids, they took part from start to finish, one motivating the other, coming to ADM to find out the results, following everything closely and we had the Rosa morning class as the winners - a total of 4,270 points.

I'm grateful for everyone's participation. Together we created a positive impact on our planet,” said Pâmela Fernanda, who led the campaign with Don Bosco Green Alliance.
