From green theory to sustainable practice - Timor Leste
Don Bosco Agricultural School in Fuiloro is hosting an internship in the third year. The trainees practically applied the knowledge they learned over the past years.
They will learn a combination of traditional and modern farming. Together they are looking for the most efficient, safe and environmentally friendly way to grow, because the climate crisis is already being felt in Timor-Leste.
Thus the soil in parts of the country are dried up and infertile. The trainees are therefore learning to improve the fertility of the soils with new agro-ecological technologies.
This way young people can complete their agricultural education well - and become important players in agriculture of the future!
